Only 5 days left til i get married!!! Now is the hard part--the waiting. Got everything paid for in Cocoa, got money for the lawyer and classes for DWI, got money and food for the wedding party in Charlotte, got the house and animals taken care of, the schedules are made, and the bags are packed....lets do this!!!!! Dammit, im soooo ready to have a vacation. Dirt and I have both been working like 80 hours a week trying to save all this money, and now its all finally paying off. The best part is, after a couple of phone calls to Mens USA i ended up getting Dirts shirt and tie for free! (it was $80!) Once we get home i'll get to cut back my hours, and after a few more weeks i wont hafta worry about any more court bullshit. i got off pretty lucky in that situation. Just some dumb classes and i'll be done with it entirely. Then we can start saving for a new house!!! :) Now, if only i can get the damned dog to quit eating all of our stuff....

Last nite i had a dream that i forgot to bring my shoes to the wedding and i had to wear my combat boots underneath my wedding dress.
Going to talk to a lawyer today, cuz i found out i have a good chance of getting DWI dropped since i never took a breathalizer test and have no previous driving offenses EVER. We'll see. The new Slammer comes out tomorrow, i hope i'm on the cover!!!! That'll make it all worthwhile...
Wedding in 2 weeks, reception in 3 weeks. Everything is paid for except the marriage license, which we have to purchase in Florida. Ordered my new ID yesterday, hopefully it will come before we leave!!!! Otherwise my wedding will be a $5000 phony. Not that it really matters, but Dirts mom would be pissed cuz we had to change ministers. We upgraded our hotel room to a 2 room suite with a kitchen so she could load us down with food for the week. I also got the girls another night at the hotel in cocoa so they could spend the weekend. Right now our only problem is the crashers who are coming out of the woodwork. We only planned for 60 people and now we have about 75 coming, and the number keeps growing every day! We already had to order 2 more tables w/chairs and might hafta order more next week. It would have been nice if these people had RSVP'd, but our friends are all slackers! As far as the Charlotte wedding goes, we are expecting about 100 to show up. Got the roof fixed at the club, so we don't hafta worry about it raining that day. My only concern is that i may not have a lot of money to throw at the Charlotte wedding after paying the band, but my mom said she would cater that one since Dirts mom usurped the catering in Cocoa. Whatever, im sure it will work out fine and i'm just stressing over tiny details....

Just got charges in Tenn dropped, then 24 hours later i got a DUI. :( Lame! On the bright side, i took an AWESOME mugshot and i BEGGED them to put me in next weeks issue of "the Slammer". Imma be pissed if i don't get my pic in.
On the subject, my old man did the most awesome thing in the entire world to save my ass...Can't write it in Livejournal till the court date is over, but all i can say is-He broke the law to save my ass, and it was the sweetest thing any man has ever done for me. If it weren't for his quick thinking i would still be sitting in jail and my pets would be dead by now. MY MAN RULES! Thank bob he's an anarchist....

Got a second job bartending at a new club called Dammit Janet! on Davidson St. It's only 2 or 3 nights a week, but it;s taking up a lot of my free time. Haven't been by the gym in weeks, and my wedding dress arrives next week! I really need the extra money tho, we are blowing tons of cash on the wedding party here in Charlotte. Haven't sent out invitations yet, but gonna try to do that this week. Right now the Cocoa scene is under control, except Dirts crazy mom hasn't given us any confirmation on the cake, and we hafta find a new minister to marry us! Added an extra day and bumped up the flight plan so we could get our marriage licence in Florida and we wouldn't hafta rush. I'm so excited!!! :)
Also, we got a new dog named Betty. She's half pit half bird-dog and super sweet and obedient. Poor dog has been passed around the neighborhood, first she was KC and Parkers dog, then she ran off and was found and adopted by Jeff and Alison, now she lives with us! What a sweetie head...
The cats hate her.

update on wedding stuffs:
My mother offered to pay for the wedding as long as she got to do everything, so i took her up on the offer!
She rented out a mansion in cocoa near the park where Dirt wanted to get married. Before i knew it, this turned into a very formal affair. My mom hired a wedding planner and a bartender and went shopping at a winery to pick out 16 bottles of wine. She also sez she'll get a keg as well if we want. My aunt sherry is taking 2 days off work to help her decorate, and she's got Ivy making these black roses out of silk for the chairs. I told her not to waste money on flowers, but she's getting black and white roses for all the tables anyway. I told her that as long as she's paying, i don't care! Dirt's mother offered to buy the cake, so there's another 250 we don't hafta spend. We bought the rings yesterday, mine is a set and Dirt got his engraved. Now we only hafta worry about the reception in Charlotte, i haven't even finalized the booking on that yet! and i've gotta confirm the band!!! I see how this can really stress out some women...
I went shopping with Somer yesterday to try on another wedding dress (I have 2 now), even tho i still plan on ordering one custom made online. Went to this place called the Wedding Mall on Sardis, and it was like they couldn't get rid of us fast enough! They were all completely rude and unhelpful. (not to mention their dresses were plain and ugly!) We ended up going to Southpark mall and i bought a beautiful dress (a little big tho) on clearance for only 70 bucks. I dont intend to wear it at the wedding, i just bought it because the ladies at the store were the only ones who didn't treat me like i was poor the entire day!

I still haven't told my dad. I'm trying to work up the nerve to do it right now. Once I do, its on.
It would probably be appropriate for my uncle Mark to perform the wedding, but im SOOOOO not looking forward to mixing the families together. There is NO WAY we will be inviting our friends to the wedding with the families. i almost want to run off to the courthouse and bypass the ceremony altogether and skip straight to the party with the friends!
I think Dirt's gonna try to throw a party at the compound, we will hafta get someone to pick us up from Orlando and drive us there. Not sure how i feel about it yet, but i don't really care as long as those Hilton cunts don't show up and act snotty to me at my own wedding. That would suck.
I went to snug last night to ask Scott about maybe renting it out, but i didn't see him. Altho I heard his wedding party would be there this week!
Im totally overwhelmed. I dont want rings, i dont want flowers, i dont want suits and ties, god i hate traditional weddings! We aren't even religious! we might buy fake rings to use for the family wedding and just throw them away afterwards. The last thing i need is another fuckin ring, right? we also thought about tattoos instead, but were forewarned by several tattoo artists that it is a marriage jinx. its not like i don't already have his name tattooed inside my mouth or anything! Oh well. im sure we'll think of something.
Man, this is stressfull....
At least i already have the damn dress and honeymoon booked.

internet junkies are so funny....

i love people who are fearless online, but total cowards in real life. Case in point: on my last entry, some girl ive never met made a comment about my weight. I looked at her info and got her name and address and phone numbers and called her to ask why she would harrass a stranger for no reason. She didnt answer so i left a nice polite message. i waited 20 minutes and tried again and she picked up and hung up on me :(
I suppose she forgot people on livejournal are REAL people and can find you and confront you for your childish actions.
Im willing to bet a hundred dollars she's friends with Sara the Livejournal Stalker, who has been bitched out by every judge in NC for endlessly harrassing her enemies for no reason...

You people suck. All you do all day is look up strangers journals and say nasty things and start fights for no reason? Get real.

In other news, The roommate situation may have resolved itself. Beruit claims he joined up with 3 bands in cocoa, which means i may get more free time with the old man than i had previously expected :) i know im enjoying it way more than he is tho, and that makes me sad when he's sad.
Altho to be honest, ive never been happier in my entire life than i am right now. its like i won the husband lottery...

I am getting married the last week of september in orlando at Universal studios, one reception to be held in cocoa, one in Charlotte. the mom has been informed, the flight has been booked, the dress has been bought (see below!).




i got the dress today and tried it on, its a little snug in the boobs, but thats usuallty the first place i lose weight so it shouldnt be a problem. Got an awesome all-inclusive deal, the flight/hotel/park entrance w/unlimited food & drink for 4 days for $440 a person. NOT TOO SHABBY! We still wanna try to hit Germany in late July, but that remains to be seen.

In the meantime, we went to the last Purgatory a few weeks ago, here's a pic of the dress i made for my viking outfit...

Yeah, i guess it has been awhile since i last posted. (i forgot my password and gave up)

Honestly, things have been pretty awesome lately. Im down to a size 10 and maintaining, the guys moved in with me and they both got jobs working at the Dish, they found a new bass player and drummer in town, i paid off all my credit card debt, things havent been this great in a long time!
I even got another source of income!

Visart xmas party was out of control! We had a trivia contest and the winning team got to chop up the dead computer with an axe. Then we had a reading of the worst screenplay in history.

Missed out on this weeks chance to skip town for the weekend. Dunno yet about wilmington next week, my plate got revoked today. Wouldn't ya know it, for somethin that i didn't even do, no less!
Workin hard on xmas projects day and night, started drinkin way too much coffee. trying to focus on staying in the gym for the next few weeks, and not spending any money going out. All this coffee is making me stir crazy, tho.
Finally catching up on bills and saving money thanks to having a new roommate, hopefully enough to skip off to Holland in a few months. I'm not as hesitant to go back overseas now that Obama has helped ease the worlds view of the US for now. Lets hope that lasts....

So the other night at Snug Harbor i got totally hammered and ended up at Scott Weavers house til like 4am and then went to Kim's and passed out on her couch at like 6am. At some point during the evening i lost my bike chain and lock, i wonder if it is in Kim's trunk. The next morning i had to ride my hungover ass back home on my bike :( LAME!

The documentary I was in is premiering next weekend at the Film Festival, i hope i'll be able to go!

I'm flat broke until next payday, which means i will not be buying any gas, food, or other provisions until the first of next month :(
This means i've had no choice but to ride my bike to work every day. I think i'm down to a size 10 now. None of my clothes fit me anymore,m I can slip out of all of my pants without unbuttoning them. I really need new clothes. I think i might have to have another clothes-swap soon, thats where i got most of what i'm wearing now.
Work is super lame. Someone has been half-ass filing the memberships over the last couple of years, so now we've (i've) got to alphabetize the 13,000 applications over again. *sigh* NOTE TO SELF: Men can't file worth shit. Good news: Marsha is sending me a buffer!!! No more shipping defectives!(and maybe i can fix my Young Ones DVD)
Tonight is Snug Harbor. I really hope somebody will buy me a drink. I sure do need one....

Gas is too expensive, so i've ridden my bike to work everyday this week.

I lost another 2 pounds.

I've been burning dvds 24 hours a day. This thing rocks. I'm backing up my entire library!

YAY!!! New computer!

I've been out of touch with the e-world all week, but now i've got a new DVD burner and CD burner and a ton of extra space :)

Today my horoscope was eerily true, gas prices went up a whole dollar, and i got a new roommate!
Unfortunately due to lack of communication, i missed the BOC awards :( We won (of course), but now i have to go pick up the award at the CL. Poop.
